Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi you will be welcome by our representative. He will assist you for a hassle free check in at the hotel. You will have the dinner at the hotel, and retire for the night.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
After having your breakfast, you will embark on Delhi sightseeing tour. Delhi has chequered but tempestuous history, nonetheless. It has seen decline, invasions, destruction and resurgence. But the city continued to shape Indian culture and destiny. While exploring the various monuments of Delhi, you might get an insight of Delhi history. This will start with the visiting of monuments of Old Delhi. Red Fort is the most prominent tourist attraction. It is gigantic structure in red stone. Then next we will see is Jama Masjid. It is the largest mosque in India. Both of them are built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Exploring the Chandani Chowk market, you will feel the medieval aura everywhere. Visit Raj Ghat to offer your respects to the father of the nation. You will have lunch at a nice restaurant. After lunch, you will visit attractions of New Delhi like India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and Qutub Minar. Delhi has majestic temples like Lotus Temple, Birla Temple and Akshardham Temple. You will get back to your hotel. Have your dinner and retire for the night.
Day 3: Delhi - Rishikesh - Haridwar
After having your early breakfast, you will drive to Rishikesh passing through Haridwar. After reaching at Rishikesh, you will check into a hotel. Later, visit Rishikesh attractions like Laxman Jhoola, Pushkar Temple, Shatrughan Temple, Muni-Ki-Reti, Swarg Ashram, Triveni Ghat, etc. Later, visit Haridwar and its various attractions like Hari-Ki-Paudi. According to myth, a drop of nectar (Amrit) dropped here which signifies the beginning of the world. It is a magical sight when thousands of lamps are lit at the same time in all the Haridwar temples for evening arti. An indescribably ethereal sight to behold! Afterwards, the sight of countless lamps and flowers floating down the waters of River Ganga is very surreal. It is for sure that Golden Triangle Tour with Rishikesh will make you feel rejuvenated. Later get back to your hotel. Have your dinner and retire for the night.
Day 4: Rishikesh - Agra (300kms, 5-6 hours)
After having your breakfast early in the morning, you will embark on a half day sightseeing tour of Rishikesh. Explore famous attractions like Bharat Temple, Rishi Kund, Gita Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan, Laxman Temple, etc. After having your lunch, proceed to Agra. After arriving there, you will check into a hotel and relax. Later, Visit the local markets of Agra to buy souvenirs, curios and ethnic artifacts. Go over to Oswal Emporium where they have installed a replica of Taj Mahal which took 10 years to complete. Watch the sound and light show depicting the various periods of Taj Mahal. Get back to your hotel.
Day 5: Agra Sightseeing
After having your breakfast, you will visit the incomparably beautiful Taj Mahal. Agra is most important destination of Golden Triangle Tours. It is a World Heritage Site. Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It symbolizes the eternality of love. You will be astonished at the sheer magic engraved in white marvel. The best time to watch Taj in its full glory is at sunrise or sun set. You will have lunch at some snazzy restaurant.
Later, visit Agra Fort, another world heritage site built in red stone. Explore the places, gardens and fountains inside this palace. Move over to Itmad-ul-Daulah Tomb built by Empress Noor Jahan in memory of her father. It is usually referred to as Baby Taj. Get back to your hotel.
Day 6: Agra – Jaipur (230kms - 5hours)
After having your breakfast, you drive to Jaipur. You will visit Fatehpur Sikri along the way. At Fatehpur Sikri, visit Panch Mahal, Bulund Darwaza & Shrine of Sheikh Salim Chisti. Then, resume your journey to Jaipur. On reaching Jaipur, you will check into a hotel. Unwind for a while. Then visit Birla temple in the evening. It is a beautiful temple built in marble. Have your dinner at 5 star ethnic resort, Choki Dhani. Get back to your hotel and retire for the night.
Day 7: Jaipur
After having your breakfast, you will visit the various attractions of the city. Visit the City Palace complex and its museum. There are numerous museums which showcase the heritage of Rajasthan. Hawa Mahal is another beautiful building which was built for the royal women to look out at the outside world. Visiting Jal Mahal is going to be real fun as it is situated on the banks of a lake. A camel ride along the lake is very exciting. Explore the Amber Fort located on a hill. It is the largest Fort in India. Enjoy a terrific elephant ride up to the Fort. Visit Jantar Mantar, Rambagh Palace, and Nahargarh Palace. Visit the local markets for buying souvenirs, indigenous handicrafts, etc. Afterwards, get back to your hotel. Have dinner and retire for the night.
Day 8: Jaipur – Delhi (260Kms - 5hours)
After having your breakfast, you will drive back to Delhi. If you have time, visit Nimrana along the way to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will be transferred to the International airport to board your onward flight. Here, the wonderful Golden Triangle tour ends.
