Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
You will start this majestic Golden Triangle Tour from Delhi. Our representative will assist you for check-in at the pre booked hotel, where you will have breakfast and relax for some time. Thereafter our representative will take you for the sightseeing of all the heritage and cultural sites in Delhi. It is a place loaded with history and intertwined with the destiny of India. From around the 5th century BC, the imperial city of Delhi has been continuously inhabited. While exploring the various heritage sites, you will feel history oozing out of every place in Delhi. The city has shaped the cultural landscape of India, especially North India throughout the ages. With the advent of Delhi Sultanate, Delhi rose to prominence. Till date, it remains the soul of cultural life of India. For Mirza Ghalib, the Shakespeare of Urdu poetry, Delhi was soul of the world.
You will get to see the fantastic monuments, like the Red fort built by Shah Jahan. It looks majestic. Explore the interiors of this wonderful fort. Just across the road you will explore the heritage market, Chandani Chowk. Its medieval aura still vibrates. At night, it looks magical. Sample the famous street food here. Jama Masjid is another piece of splendid Mughal architecture. Delhi has been a Petri-dish for intermingling of different cultures. The composite culture emerged from here. Later, you will explore Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament Building, India Gate, and Connaught Place. These are fine specimens of colonial architecture. Also visit the spell-binding temples at Delhi like Lotus temple, Akshardham temple and Birla Temple. After a fantastic day of Delhi sightseeing, you will return to your hotel for the night stay.
Day 2: Proceed to Agra
Early in the morning, you will depart for Agra after having your breakfast. Enroute, you will visit Sikandra Tomb of Emperor Akbar. After reaching Agra, you will check- in to a hotel. Relax for a while in the hotel. It is going to be a very rewarding day ahead. Agra is the most visited destination of the Golden Triangle Tours. After having your lunch, you will set out on Agra sightseeing tour. Taj Mahal in Agra is the main attraction of the city. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This unique monument was borne out of love of a man for his wife. The Taj Mahal is befitting ode to love. It is beautiful, majestic and eternal just like love. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. The pristine beauty of the Taj will certainly move your emotions.
After seeing the incomparable the Taj, you would visit Agra Fort which is another famous attraction of Agra. The fort has beautiful palaces, gardens and fountains. The four great Mughals lived here and India was ruled from here for a long time. There is another remarkable monument, Itmad-ul-Daulah Tomb, which was built by Noor Jahan in memory of her father. It is also known as Baby Taj. After visiting remarkable monuments, you will get back to your hotel, where you will have your dinner and will stay for the night.
Day 3: Proceed to Jaipur
You will wake up early in the morning. After having your breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Jaipur. Enroute, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri. This city was founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is a World Heritage site like the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. It is an important destination in any Golden Triangle India itinerary. At Fatehpur Sikri, you will explore the magnificent attractions like Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, etc. The city was deserted for various reasons. After reaching Jaipur, you will be checked in to a pre-booked hotel. Where you will relax for a while and your lunch will be served to you. Afterwards, you will go on a fabulous Jaipur sightseeing tour. Jaipur is a fantastic city which is also known as Pink city. The city has numerous attractions which you will love exploring. Visit the City Palace complex and its museum. The museum houses various facets of Rajasthani history. Hawa Mahal is another remarkable attraction. It was built for royal women who used to see the outer world through the windows. Visiting Jal Mahal would be fun for it is situated on the banks of a lake. Day 4: Departure for Delhi
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, you would depart for Delhi. On your way to Delhi, you will visit Amber Fort. It is one of the finest and largest forts in India. Amber Fort is situated at the top of the hill in the backdrop of scenic Aravali hills. The fort is the highest achievement of Rajput architecture. It so deftly fuses the elements of Rajput and Mughal architecture. The ride up the hill to the fort on the back of a colourful decorated elephant is utterly thrilling. Thereafter, you continue your journey to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will be checked in to a hotel. Have your dinner and relax at the hotel. It is the end of your fascinating Golden Triangle tour. In the evening, you will be taken to the international airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
